AFOT TO VISIT THE METROPOLITAN MUSEUM, NEW YORK

WITH PROF. WALTER DENNY AS GUIDE,  25 AFOT members will visit the Met on Saturday, January 21.  The group will travel by Amtrak to New York early in the morning, meet Prof. Walter Denny and tour the newly-opened 15 galleries of art in Islamic countries with him in a private tour.  Prof. Denny was the Senior Consultant to the Met during the entire 5-year period of reconstructing the galleries.  After the personal tour of the Met galleries, the group will return to Washington, D.C. early that evening.
